POTSDAM — Digital artist Alex Lee will bring his virtual reality showcase entitled “Everything from Here to Infinity” to the North Country Children’s Museum on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 1-2:30 p.m.
Virtual reality headsets will be available for visitors ages 7 years and older.
Younger children can manipulate the virtual reality experience with a joystick on a large screen.
Lee utilizes 3D animation, video game engines, and virtual/augmented/immersive reality platforms.
Museum visitors will navigate the entirety of the cosmic map in VR starting from the Milky Way to the cosmic light horizon, which is approximately 13.8 billion light years away.
This drop-in family program is included with membership and admission.
The museum is located at 10 Raymond Street in Potsdam.
