GOUVERNEUR — The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce and the St. Lawrence County Industrial Development Agency are hosting the third “Nature & Networking” event at the Gouverneur Community Center at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 22.
Business owners and managers are encouraged to attend this networking opportunity. At 4:30 p.m., participants can choose to ‘walk & talk’ in small groups or stay back at the community center.
A program will commence at the community center at 5, with appetizers and door prizes.
A topic of discussion will be on “Employee Retention.” At a time when businesses are struggling to meet their workforce needs, the event organizers seek to open a dialogue with business leaders about their efforts to retain employees and give participants the opportunity to share successful strategies and resources.
The Gouverneur Community Center is located at 4673 Route 58.
To register, go to www.slcchamber.org and look for the Nature & Networking event under the “Upcoming Business Development Programs & Chamber Events” section. A $5 entrance fee (cash or check) is requested.
