TUPPER LAKE -- An overview of expected impacts on the Adirondacks from climate change from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, March 29 is hosted by The Wild Center.
Presenters will discuss the state report’s adaptation recommendations. The event is free.
The report can be found online at http://www.nyserda.ny.gov/climaid. Scientists will highlight pertinent findings of the report and Adirondack region scientists and members of the Adirondack Climate and Energy Action Plan (ADKCAP) network will discuss local efforts to prepare for and slow the changing climate.
