CANTON -- A Canton community forum on Black Lives Matter will be held at noon on Saturday, June 13.
Co-organized by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Canton, the Canton United Methodist Church, and the North Country Poor People’s Campaign, the Forum on Black Lives Matter (BLM) will be held at Canton Village Park, where all are invited to participate safely by utilizing masks and social distancing.
Our forums will focus on centering the experience of people of color and addressing what BLM's demand to Defund the Police means for Canton.
For more information, contact the Social Justice Coordinator and member of the North Country Poor People’s Campaign, Teresa Veramendi at sjcoordinator@uucantonny.org.
