CANTON -- A work party behind the Banford School playground to help prepare a new garden site is the first event in an appreciation celebration by the Canton Central School Garden Project Friday.
The work party begins at 4 p.m. A light dinner featuring garden produce begins at 5 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.
If it rains, they will postpone the work party but not the dinner.
