WELLESLEY ISLAND – The 32nd annual Autumn Festival at the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center, Wellesley Island State Park will be held Saturday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors will find a craft show and sale complete with spinners, weavers, pottery, wood carvings, silver & bead jewelry, photography, drawings, paintings, Alpaca products, hand made goat soap, and more. Music will be provided throughout the day by The Rusty Doves, the Fort Drum Dixieland Band and Rick Markert & Jack Caughey on dulcimer & guitar.
There will be live animals from New York State Zoo at Thompson Park, live Alpacas and farm animals, old fashioned children's games and crafts, and cider press demonstration.
Admission: children 12 and under $1 or free with non-perishable donation for local food pantry; adults $3, family $8, military families free with ID. All admission free after 2:30 p.m. For more information call 482-2479.
