OGDENSBURG — The Friends of the Ogdensburg Public Library invite all readers, book club members and book lovers to its Book Lovers Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 12-2:30 p.m. in the library’s upstairs auditorium, 312 Washington St.
The event will be a celebration of reading with games, door prizes and lunch, along with a presentation and book signing by regional author Peggy (Marguerite) Mooers. Mooers worked as a teacher in a medium security prison in upstate New York before retiring to write murder mysteries.

Mooers’s books are for sale at Pickens Hall in Heuvelton and Artworks Creperie in Waddington.
Some of her book titles are: Casualty of Hope, The Lies That He Told, The Girl in the Woods, The Shelter of Darkness and The Whistleblower – just to name a few. She will also have some books for sale after the Book Lovers Celebration.
