• Saturday January 2: ADK Laurentian Annual New Year Outing at Higley Flow State Park 1:00-3:00 PM Come ski, snowshoe and tailgate at the park to kick off the New Year in nature. Bring a snack, weather permitting we will have a bonfire and the bathrooms will be open at the Lodge.
• Saturday January 9: Ski into Clear Pond. In the White Hill Wild Forest in Parishville. 4-5 miles RT, moderately strenuous. We will hike if there is no snow. Contact David Trithart dtrithar@twcny.rr.com.
• Saturday January 23: Ski to High Rock. This almost 8 mile round trip ski tour begins in Wanakena and follows an old truck trail to a beautiful outlook over the Oswegatchie River. Mostly level, moderate. Contact Holly & Neil Woodworth at (315) 848-2953 or hswoodworth@gmail.com.
• Saturday February 27: Snowshoe to Pinnacle Mountain. Near Santa Clara. 4 to 5 miles RT. The first 1.5 miles is flat, and then a 380 foot rise on the mountain trail. Moderate. Contact trip leader Tom Ortmeyer, tortmeye@gmail.com or 315-244-3707.
