North Country This Week
MASSENA -- Hardy’s Bakery is now open offering a variety of baked goods to the North Country community at 31 Willow St.
The business is owned and operated by Josie Hardy.
Hardy’s has been in business for about 5 years and relocated to its current location in early October.
“It’s a one-woman show,” Hardy said.
She bakes cinnamon rolls, cookies, cakes, bagels and donuts.
Her donuts are not fried. She said she tried a few baked donut recipes before settling. Hardy said they are “very popular.”
Most of her ingredients are sourced from local farms, including eggs and fruit.
Most items are available each day but flavors can alter from season to season.
Being close to Christmas, Hardy is offering eggnog and peppermint flavored baked good.
Hardy’s Bakery is open Tuesday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
She also takes customers orders for weddings and other events.
