CANTON -- Bohler Engineering of Albany, the firm charged with the construction of the new McDonalds in Canton, will not present their conceptual site plan at the upcoming village planning board meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
Planning Board Chairman Barry Walch said that, as of Tuesday, Jan. 7, the firm was not prepared for the meeting and had removed themselves from the agenda.
A site plan for the new restaurant, to be constructed in the Price Chopper parking lot at 111 E. Main St., has been reviewed by the county planning department, which made several recommendations.
The project was to receive a conceptual review at the planning board meeting, which is a preliminary analysis by the board before a formal site plan review is requested.
McDonalds previously ran a restaurant at 64 Main St., but closed it in 2015.
