“It has been a triumphant season for our Harrisville Bowling Pirates,” said BOCES spokesperson Zach Ribert.
The team competed in the NYSPHSAA Section X matches on Thursday, Feb. 15. During those matches, seniors Dariusz Browning and Grayson Soper each scored more than 1,000 pins.
Harrisville will be represented at the NYSPHSAA Bowling Championships with students Gavin Bernhard and Haily Brownell making it to the top six composite team for the state.
The Harrisville Varsity Bowling team was introduced for its first year during the 2022-23 school year.
Bowlers will compete at NYSPHSAA bowling championships March 8-10 at AMF Strike N Spare Lanes in Syracuse.
