AKWESASNE — The Tribal Clerk’s Office reminds individuals, including those 18-years old on or before June 1st, to verify their eligibility to vote prior to this year’s Annual Tribal Election.
Tribal members are encouraged to contact the Tribal Clerk’s Office to ensure personal information is up-to-date including contact information, name changes due to marriage or divorce, as well as births or the passing of loved ones. Please keep in mind that no changes to the eligible voters list will be made after May 24, 2024 at 4 p.m.
Please ensure that your Tribal Identification card is not expired prior to elections. Tribal ID cards must be renewed every five years and can be done in person or by emailing tclerk@srmt-nsn.gov.
