Jon-Scott Charleston, 56, Colton

COLTON -- Mr. Jon-Scott Charleston, age 56 of Colton, NY passed away suddenly on March 9, 2024, at his residence in the town of Colton.

Arrangements for cremation are with the Garner Funeral Service.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, March 16th at 11 am at the Garfield Cemetery in Potsdam, NY.

Jon-Scott is survived by his wif,e JoAmiee; his daughters, Tiffany (Michael) Clesi, Molly Moniere-Charleston; and his grandchildren, Skyler and Sophia Clesi, as well as two children from previous relationships, Brooke Cameron and Brandon George and their families. He is also survived by his siblings, Denise (Dale) Parnapy, Kevin, Dale, and Michael (Amy) Charleston, and all their families and several nieces, nephews and good friends.

He was also predeceased by his older brother, William.

Jon-Scott was born on a military base in San Francisco, CA on October 25, 1967, to the late Keith and Dorthy (Sheeley) Charleston.

He was a graduate of Potsdam Central High School.

He worked at Sergi’s Restaurant and The Bagelry.

He then became a truck driver and drove for Relco for years and then for LaValley Transportation for the past 15 years.

Jon-Scott was married to JoAmiee Moniere on January 20, 1996.

He and his wife enjoyed Sunday dinners with the family, holidays together and family barbecues.

His hobbies were motorcycle and side by side riding.

He also enjoyed time with his friends from The Moose and The Lounge.
