POTSDAM -- Celebrate the Baroque period and the International Day of the Organ at Trinity Episcopal Church in Potsdam on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m.
Local musicians from across St. Lawrence County are presenting a free concert to honor both the musical heritage of the Baroque era and the majestic sound of the organ.
Baroque music, with its intricate melodies and rich harmonies, is particularly well-suited to showcase the capabilities of the organ- making this program a treat for the ears.
This concert will also feature performances from the piano studios of Barbara Burdick and Julia Pomainville, The Flute Choir, and more.
The Chorale du Nord, under the direction of Sondra Goldsmith Proctor, will be singing Johann Sebastian Bach's third motet, Jesu, meine Freude.
Admission is free and tickets are not required.
