I think that many of us living in the village of Potsdam are hoping against hope that common sense prevails. Do we really need to reinvent the wheel? The only thing that makes any sense is to change those things that are sucking this town dry. Police officers should not have their retirement funded on the backs of the hard working people of this village. They must plan for their retirements like the rest of us. The nepotism that has allowed this to go on for so many years has got to stop.
