In response to “Boys will be Boys” which appeared in the Nov. 1-7 issue of North Country This Week: I must agree. I grew up in the 50s in a male dominated family. My mother and I had to have a thick skin around my grandfather, father and brothers. I went on to college and had a good career in a male dominated workplace. Yes, there were remarks, looks etc. I just ignored them. Obviously, with our current president this is true. The majority of Americans ignored that trivial Access Hollywood nonsense and voted in a great man. I notice our first lady doesn’t seem upset in the least…walking quietly behind him with dignity. Maybe we need to follow her example and let some things in society stay within their places.
