In response to photos of Amish and the recent fatal Amish buggy accident: Why don't we start with the fact that Amish don't want their picture taken. Next, there's no red flag, no tail lights, no safety features of any kind in the photo submitted in the “hometown photo" submission. Amish driving a horse hitched to a flat wagon loaded with farm machinery is dangerous enough without people snapping pictures and glorifying the danger of the situation. It's not a pretty and peaceful picture as I recall an accident last week that took a young Amish man's life.
