WEST STOCKHOLM -- A Livingston Road man has been arrested by St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies, charged with imprisonment and harassment.
Deputies arrested Jeffrey G. Foerster, 56, of 25 Livingston Rd., on Thursday in connection with his alleged refusal Tuesday to let his assistant leave his house.
Deputies say he physically restrained her on the floor.
A subsequent 911 call put deputies on the case.
Foerster was arraigned Thursday in Potsdam Town Court on a misdemeanor count of unlawful imprisonment, and a count of second-degree harassment.
The court issued a no-contact order protecting the alleged victim.
Foerster was released pending a court appearance.
