Jared J. Dewey, 22, and Cody A. Lovely, 21, both of Ogdensburg, stole four spools of copper wire valued at over $2,500.
They were both charged with one count each of fourth-degree grand larceny. Dewey was released with an appearance ticket for Lisbon Town Court.
Upon his arrest, Lovely was found in possession of a suboxone pill.
He was additionally charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and New York State Public Health Law violation of [img_assist|nid=240366|title=Lovely|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=120|height=150]having a controlled substance not the original container.
He was arraigned at the Town of Lisbon Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
