STOCKHOLM -- Two people were injured and a 19-year-old driver was charged with impaired driving after a collision on Nov. 23.

Police say they charged Hunter D. Ploof, 19, of O'Brien Road, Potsdam with driving while intoxicated and speed not reasonable and prudent.

Ploof crashed the car he was driving on Curtis Road, which sent him and a passenger to Canton-Potsdam Hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries.

His blood alcohol content is pending blood test results, deputies said in the Dec. 1 news release announcing the charges.

He was charged and released with appearance tickets for Stocholm Town Court, deputies said.

West Stockholm and Potsdam fire departments, as well as Potsdam Rescue Squad, responded to the scene.
