POTSDAM -- Five people were charged in two shoplifting incidents ar the Potsdam Walmart Wednesday.
Kristanna D. Hueber, 21 and Kasandra M. Cunningham, 20, both of Canton, were each charged with petit larceny at 5:30 p.m.
They were issued appearance tickets returnable to court at a later date.
About three hours later, state police said they charged three people in connection with a shoplifting at Walmart, 7494 U.S. Highway 11.
Eddy B. Rosario, 19, was charged with petit larceny at 8:55 p.m.
Two unnamed 18-year-olds were cited for petit larceny.
Police did not release their names.
All three were cited at 8:55 p.m. and released on appearance tickets returnable to court at a later date.
