St. Lawrence County organizations dedicated to preventing obesity, type 2 diabetes and other chronic diseases may be eligible for grant funding.
Creating Healthy Places is offering five awards of up to $7,000.
Projects eligible must increase physical activity and reduce sedentary behavior. Also, they must increase access to and consumption of healthy foods and reduce access to and consumption of foods with minimal nutritional value.
