Congressman Bill Owens will hold a telephone “town hall” Tuesday.
Beginning at 6:45 p.m., Owens will update callers about his effort to create jobs in upstate New York, and then take questions from constituents during the hour-long call.
A random sample of 40,000 residents in New York’s 23rd Congressional District will be chosen Tuesday morning to participate in the evening conference call. To request a phone call invitation, constituents from NY-23 can email their name and number to ny23townhall@mail.house.gov or call the congressman’s Watertown office at 782-3150.
“I am pleased to have the opportunity to provide a forum for constituents to voice their concerns and discuss what is important to them...to ask me a question, share what is on their mind, or just listen to the conversation,” Owens said.
Those unable to participate in Tuesday’s telephone town hall can contact Owens by calling any of his offices in New York or Washington, visiting his website at http://owens.house.gov, connecting with him on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/repbillowens, or following him on Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/BillOwensNY.
