MASSENA -- Potsdam Superintendent Patrick Brady would not confirm or deny rumors that he is seeking the Massena Central School superintendent position.
“Massena School has a process in place for releasing the names of applicants. It would not be appropriate for me to comment on this if I was involved with an employment opportunity there,” Brady said.
Massena Central School Board of Education interviewed five superintendent candidates recently, but has not yet released the names of the finalists.
Repeated calls to Massena Central School District Clerk Candy Prairie, Superintendent William Flynn, and school board president John Boyce were not returned.
Finalist interviews will be conducted on Jan. 12, 13 and 14, 2015.
Five different committees have been established to interview the three finalists.
According to an emailed response from Prairie, all inquiries concerning the superintendent search are being directed to the Board of Education President John Boyce.
