POTSDAM -- In honor of D-Day, the Potsdam Public Museum has an exhibit of WWII uniforms and artifacts, both American and German.
Part of the display includes a Nazi Banner that is 12 feet 6 inches by 50 inches.
The museum invites all to visit and view this and other interesting artifacts from WWII.
The museum, in the Civic Center at 2 Park St., is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There is also a touching story on the museum home page regarding Louis White, a long-time Potsdam resident who took part in the Normandy invasion. White died in 2011.
The museum’s web site is here.
