OGDENSBURG -- The St. Joseph's Foundation has announced the winners of their annual Golf Ball Drop held at Father Martin Field on Saturday, Aug. 27.
Over 1,000 golf balls were dropped onto the "green" from a helicopter.
The ball closest to the pin was purchased by Bill Sellers, who won $1,000 sponsored by St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union.
Second closest to the pin was purchased by Dan Moore, who won $200 sponsored by Carlisle Law Firm, P.C.
Third closest was purchased by Leaman Simmons, who won $100 sponsored by St. Joseph's Employee Recreation Committee.
The chipping contest was won by Dave Bell.
Twenty people enjoyed helicopter rides after the ball drop provided by Frank Richardson and Son.
