STOCKHOLM --- A Brookdale man is facing several counts of animal neglect charges after six of his cows allegedly died.
John O. Chapman, II, 31, 3049 Cty. Rt. 49, Norfolk, was charged Wednesday with six counts of failure to provide proper sustenance. In addition to the six dead animals, investigating St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies said the rest of his livestock were in poor condition because of an inadequate diet.
Chapman was issued tickets ordering his appearance in Stockholm Court at a later date.
