MASSENA -- A village resident is jailed on several domestic violence-related charges.
Peter A. Nelligan, 32, of Bishop Avenue is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, child endangerment and second-degree harassment, police said.
Nelligan allegedly grabbed his girlfriend’s daughter by the arm and threw her out the back door, causing a red mark on her arm, according to documents filed with Massena Village Court.
He also allegedly slapped his girlfriend in the face, choked her and threw her out the back door, the documents say.
Nelligan was arraigned by Massena Justice Gerald Sharlow and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton, in lieu of $2,000 bail or $4,000 bond, police said.
