OGDENSBURG -- The St. Lawrence County League of Women Voters has its next meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17 at the Dobinsky Center, 100 Riverside Ave.
All LWV members and interested community members -- men and women -- are welcome.
As a non-partisan organization, the LWV welcomes citizens of any declared or undeclared political orientation. The League focuses on voters and voting: the August meting will focus on fall elections in St. Lawrence County. Plans will include candidate forums.
To get to the Dobisky Center, take Rt. 68 into Ogdensburg, jogging left at the T by Burger King; turn right onto State Street and go all the way to the end; at the T with Riverside Ave. turn right. The center is part of the municipal buildings behind the senior citizen complex.
