MASSENA – A Hopkinton teen and two Massena residents are accused of identity theft and possessing a stolen credit card.
On Sunday, state police arrested Courtney A. Labar, 19, Hopkinton, Cory M. Shampine, 34, Massena, and Melissa M. Shampine, 26, charging them each with two felonies, fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property: credit card and second-degree identity theft: commit felony. Labar was additionally charged with third-degree forgery, a misdemeanor.
The arrests came about following an investigation by state police of an incident reported to them Saturday.
