CANTON -- A Heuvelton man was charged with possessing heroin while he was an inmate at the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility earlier this year, according to the St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Shawn M. Thornhill, 38, was charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband, felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, officers said.
He was arraigned in Louisville court and held on $5,000 bail, deputies said.
