RUSSELL – A Hermon man has been charged with drunk driving after suffering injuries in a motorcycle accident on County Route 21, according to state police.
Police said Kevin N. Gibbins, 54, was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital following the accident. He refused to provide a preliminary breath screen and a chemical test to determine the alcohol content of his blood, police said.
He was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath screen, failure to keep right and speed not reasonable and prudent, police said.
He is to face the charges in Town of Russell Court on July 16.
