St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging and St. Lawrence County Council of Senior Citizens is accepting nominations for three awards, Senior Citizen of the Year, Outstanding Contribution by a Senior Citizen, and the Jacqueline Sears Volunteer Award.
An exceptional senior who volunteers with time, skills and knowledge, and is a dedicated advocate for older adults, may be nominated for these awards.
Eligible nominees for Senior Citizen of the Year and Outstanding Contribution by a Senior Citizen must be age 60 or older. Nominees for St. Lawrence County Council’s Jacqueline Sears Volunteer Award can be of any age.
New more understandable nomination forms are available at Office for the Aging. The deadline for submitting all nominations is Friday, March 29.
