BRASHER – A Colton man has been arrested for drunk driving at nearly three times the legal limit, according to state police.
Police charged William E. Kargoe, 38, 6639 Co. Rt. 24, Colton, with aggravated driving while intoxicated, and failure to keep right subsequent to a traffic stop on Small Road at 6:01 a.m. Thursday.
He was processed at the Massena state police station, where he registered a .26 percent blood alcohol level, more than three times the legal limit of .08 percent, and above the aggravated threshold of .18 percent, according to police.
He was released on tickets returnable in Town of Brasher Court on June 14.
