CLIFTON -- A $3,400 grant was recently awarded through the Northern New York Community Foundation’s Clifton-Fine Community Fund in support of the Grasse River Railroad trail initiative.
Community members are developing a project utilizing the Grasse River Railroad in Cranberry Lake for scenic public trails and creating a tourism destination. The grant will be used to enhance community engagement and communications strategies for the project.
The Clifton-Fine Community Fund is a permanent charitable fund designed to support programs, projects and initiatives that impact the quality of life across the Clifton-Fine region.
