POTSDAM -- Canton-Potsdam Hospital’s Physical Rehabilitation Department recently received a New York State Athletic Administrators Association Community Service Award.
“This award is given to an organization that has made outstanding contributions to athletics over the years,” said Carl Normandin, St. Lawrence – Lewis BOCES Section X Athletics executive director. “To qualify, the organization should have evidence supported in contributions to the NYSAAA on a state and local level. Section X Athletic Council nominated CPH’s Physical Rehabilitation Department for their work in concussion management training, gait training and assessments for student athletes. The award was presented in March at our Annual State Conference for NYSAAA,” he said.
Accepting the award on behalf of CPH were Laurie White, PTA Interim Physical Rehabilitation Director and Terri Simzer, PT, DPT, Coordinator.
