CANTON – A Canton man already in jail in a burglary investigation was charged Thursday with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property from another burglary in Pierrepont reported on Dec. 5.
Ryan J. Grimshaw, 29, was found to be in possession of coins and a laptop computer stolen from a house in Pierrepont, state police said.
Those charges stemmed from an investigation by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s investigators into another burglary in Pierrepont, which resulted in charges last week of second degree burglary, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
Among the things seized from Grimshaw’s residence in Canton in that investigation were the items taken in the other burglary.
Grimshaw was held without bail.
