Sophomore Jeff Duggan had the low round, shooting a two-day score of 157 as St. Lawrence University's men's golf team tied for ninth with Williams College at the 16-team Hamilton Fall Invitational played on two courses Saturday and Sunday.
Duggan was one of four Saints to shoot 80 on the Yahnundasis Golf Club (6985 yards, par 71) on Saturday as the Saints had a first day total of 320. He came back with a 77 on Sunday at the 6765 yard, par 72 Skenandoa Course in Clinton on Sunday. Duggan tied for 24th overall in the 88 golfer field.
John Harris had the best round of the tournament for the Saints with a 76 on Sunday and finished tied for 26th at 158 after an opening round of 82. Adrian Bouthot also tied for 26th with rounds of 80 and 78. Junior Ren O'Connor was tied for 43rd with rounds of 80 and 81 and senior Pete Harriman shot 80-85 for a 165 total and tied for 56th.
Manhattanville won the team title in the tournament with a score of 609 with Middlebury second at 612. The Saints finished with a team score of 632, eight strokes out of the top five.
The Saints concluded the fall portion of their schedule with the Hamilton tournament.
