MASSENA -- A Massena man was sent to jail on $50,000 after he allegedly illegally entered woman's home and touched her sexually while she was sleeping.
Kevan G. Thierrien, 59, of Quality Inn was charged with second-degree burglary, forcible touching and grand larceny Monday at 12:54 a.m.
Massena village police say Thierrien formerly lived at the 77 Grove St. home, but had been kicked out and was staying at the Quality Inn.
Police say he illegally entered the victim's residence while she was sleeping and "began to touch her private areas." The victim allegedly woke, screamed and yelled at the defendant and he left the residence. Police say he stole keys and a wallet before leaving.
Police say officers tracked Thierrien to Quality Inn following an investigation, but Thierrien refused to answer the door. A warrant was issued by Massena Town Court and Mr. Thierrien was arrested without incident.
Thierrien was arraigned and sent to St. Lawrence County Jail on $50,000 bail.
