CANTON – Village police report a very busy weekend with 16 tickets alone being issued for alcohol related offenses.
A total of 15 tickets were issued for open container, while one was issued to a minor for unlawful possession of alcohol by a person under 21.
In addition, one person was charged with public urination, and three were charged with unnecessary noise.
All tickets are returnable to village court at a later date.
