I was extremely to read about the heartless, senseless act of the person who shot that dog, Chloe, in Helena on Jan. 3. The story “Man Offers Reward for Dog Shooting Info” appeared in the Jan. 16-22 issue of North Country This Week.
All I could think about was how that poor dog must have suffered as she lay there in the snow through that long, cold, snowy night — freezing, scared, helpless and suffering.
Whoever did this is a sick, demented excuse for a human being. Did it make you feel good when you shot that defenseless animal and left her to die?
There has to be a special place in hell for people like you.
Please pass harsher laws for such people.
