The following students were named to the St. Lawrence University Fellows program and will do research with a faculty mentor over the summer.
• Jimmy L. Buckley Jr. of Potsdam, a junior, is majoring in chemistry. He graduated from Potsdam Central High School. His research is titled "Detection of BTEX in Ground and Drinking Water Sources using SPME and GC-MS."
• Jacob M. Hurlbut of Massena, a junior, is majoring in computer science. He graduated from Massena Central School. His research is titled "Applying Software Engineering to the Total Hockey Rating System."
• Clark C. Maine of Potsdam, a junior, is majoring in economics. He graduated from The Clarkson School. His research is titled "Effects of Immigration Policies on the North Country Dairy Industry."
