Little River Community School is excited to announce the addition of Emily Cambridge Carrier to their staff. She will join Maria Corse and Steve Molnar as the “Youngers” teacher at the school.
As a riding instructor at Honey Dew Acres, in Crary Mills, an equestrian center owned by her family, Ms.Carrier brings a wealth of alternative teaching experience to the school. A “Top Fifty Riding Instructor in the Country” in 2007, she was honored and recognized for her dedication and enthusiasm for teaching. She has also spent a lot of time teaching figure skating for many of the local area skating clubs.
Ms.Carrier has a bachelor’s degree from SUNY/ Potsdam in Psychology, Literature, and History with minors in Communication and Women and Gender Studies. She is looking forward to working with all age groups at the school and will use her experience with animals to introduce animal behavior studies to the students.
