OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce’s April BOCES Student of the Month is Travis Richards, a senior from Lisbon Central School.
Travis is a student in the BOCES Metalworking Technologies Program taught by Jon Hughes.
Hughes said, “Travis is a very well rounded student with a strong work ethic. Travis will always take on a new job with a smile and great positivity even if he is unsure about how to complete the job. I cannot say enough about this young man’s consistently great personality and dependability.”
After graduation, Travis would like to join the Pipe Fitters Union or become a fabricator, building trailers.
Travis received a certificate from BOCES, a Chamber Dollars check sponsored by Jones Insurance Agency, and a plaque from the Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce.
