POTSDAM -- Na-Eun Cho has been appointed assistant professor of organizational and consumer studies at Clarkson University.
She received both her bachelor and master of business administration degrees from the School of Business at Yonsei University in Seoul, Republic of Korea. She received her Ph.D. in strategy this spring from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.
Before coming to Clarkson, Cho was a teaching assistant in 2010 and 2011 at the Ross School of Business. She taught in an executive education program that served a Korean conglomerate, the GS Group, which operates oil refinery, construction, chemical, and retail businesses. She also was an independent lecturer in 2010 for a case-based class for junior and senior undergraduate students.
Her teaching interests are core strategy, organization theory, international management, and corporate governance. Her research interests are in organizational structure and design, managerial discretion, corporate governance, and firm boundary.
