CANTON -- The St. Lawrence Chorus of Sweet Adelines International will present “Holiday Harmony” at 7 p.m. Dec. 14, featuring Christmas favorites barbershop style.
The 22-member group that sings four-part harmony a capella will perform at the First Presbyterian Church, 17 Park St. Also performing will be two quartets, Nouveaux and Meta4.
Admission is free, but a $5 donation is appreciated.
Throughout the year, the group’s repertoire includes show tunes and modern music, as well as some favorites from the past. Co-directors are Donna Kleist and Genine Gehret. Membership ranges in age from 13 to 84.
The group is currently accepting new, quality singers. Rehearsals are each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Church of Latter Day Saints in Potsdam. For more information on membership or for booking the group, contact Michelle at 212-3630 or Rebecca at 261-9352.
