COLTON -- The second in the series of four snowshoe race and walk series events on the trails of Higley Flow State Park is set for Sunday, Jan. 28 at 1 p.m.
There will be male and female divisions with over-40 and under-40 categories with the first-place winner in each receiving a plaque.
Registration is before the race start. Beverages and light snacks will be provided. Cost to participate is $8.
Proceeds from the event benefit Colton youth recreation. The remaining two events this season are on Feb. 11 and March 4.
Those completing three of the four events in the series will receive a commemorative t-shirt.
