CANTON – The “Walk To End Alzheimer’s” will be held at Partridge Run Golf & Country Club, 70 Sullivan Dr., Sept. 7 at 1 p.m.

Registration is free and will be held at 11:30 a.m. with a ceremony planned for 12:45 p.m. Every walker will be asked to make a donation and commit to raising funds in the fight against Alzheimer’s.

Parents/guardians can register kids online or complete an offline registration form and sign the waiver on behalf of the child. Every registered participant will receive a T-shirt after achieving the fundraising minimum of $100. Each registered walker with a wristband will receive a Promise Garden flower.

Donations can be made offline by submitting a check or money order by mail or hand-delivering to the local Alzheimer’s Association office. Include your offline donation form to make sure you receive credit for the donation. Then mail the contribution tracking form to the Central New York Chapter office. Donations typically take 1-2 weeks to show up online.

Strollers and well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. The route is 3-miles long.

The walk is a rain or shine event. In the case of severe weather, check the website on or before the morning of the event.
