OGDENSBURG -- There will be an open house and birthday party for a former North Country resident returning home after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
The celebration for Sharon (Hughes) Mika will be June 21 at 2 p.m. at The Place, 1612 Ford St. It will include a card shower.
Following her diagnosis, Mika decided to return home to be around family and friends who can care for her.
