EDWARDS – The Edwards Festival will be held Sunday, July 31 with a parade, fireworks and fire department waterball competition at the Lions Field.
The day begins at 11:30 with a chicken barbecue at the fire hall.
One of the largest parades in the North Country will begin at 1 p.m., beginning at the site of the Old Edwards Elementary School and proceeding to the Lions Field
At 2 p.m., area fire departments will compete in a waterball competition to earn the Eugene “Rip” Waugh Memorial Trophy.
There will be fireworks at dusk.
Mercy flight training will take place at 10:30 a.m. at Edwards Fire Hall, open to all fire, ems and law enforcement personnel
The event is sponsored by the Edwards Fire Department and The Edwards Lions Club.
